This is a love story, and yes, it is a Valentine's Day romance, but I can promise you one thing: There's nothing cheesy or typical about it. Theo and Daisy are the leading characters, and I absolutely LOVE them both!! As a single mom of twins, Daisy has been through a lot of crappy days over the years, but she is still so strong and optimistic! Theo has worked his butt off since school and has definitely reaped the benefits of said hard work, but he knows he is still missing something...someone. But heartbreak doesn't just go away and it never heals completely, no matter how much time has passed. And sometimes, true love still remains as strong as ever.10 years...they haven't seen each other, spoken to each other, or even heard how the other is doing. But all it takes is one time seeing Daisy again, after all those years, and Theo knows he's feelings haven't diminished at all. But a lot has changed in both of their lives over the past decade, and there are people and circumstances that try to come between them. This short novella has a lot of emotion and heat, all compacted together perfectly!! The characters are totally relatable, the emotions are strong, the passion is powerful, and the heat is HOT!!!! I can't say enough how much I love this whole series, and I can't wait for more!!!

"I wanted my fairytale ending with Daisy."
Oh Theo....He's soooooo sweet, although I almost punch him for deciding not to comeback. Sweet and hot, those are words I described for Theo. Love how he redeemed himself after he messed up. He will do anything to get what he wants and will always protect and never let go. Yup I love this sweet man.
As for Daisy, this mother of twins has been through a lot, no wonder she's stop to believe in love.
Glad Cupid shot his arrow to this couple this Valentine's day.
Okay this book definitely my fav book from Dee Ellis.
It's a second chance book, it's packed with love and hot scenes, there's super cute twin (hot man and babies...oh yess please), and love how the author keep me wondering with what happened in the past and what will happen next, there's also some frustrating and angry moments, especially with Dix (I really wish him to suffer more). Bottom line, love this book.
If you're looking for Valentine's read, you must read this book.

So there were several aspects of this book that makes it one of my favorites. First, I'm a sucker for holiday romance; Christmas and Valentines being my favorites. Second, I love erotic romance. (who doesn't ;) ) That said, there are erotic novels and there are romance. But when an author can give both by making me believe in the love and not only lust...well...that's another plus. Third, Stupid Cupid was fast paced and the writing flowed well enough that I devoured it quickly. And finally, Dee Ellis is an author that hasn't let me down yet and I don't foresee that ever happening. Dee is one of those authors whose writing speaks to me. Yeah, that may sound cheesy but I like what I like.
Theo Valentine is returning to Crystal Cove after being gone for ten years. He left as a teenager and never looked back. Until now. Theo left for a few reasons but the main one was Daisy Kirkpatrick. She was the girl next door, literally. She was the one he wanted to make a future with. Unfortunately, Daisy was also the one who broke Theo's heart. Since this is such a fast-paced, short read, I won't give details away. I will add, however, that things aren't always what they seem. As a result, Theo regrets his hasty run from Crystal Cove. He realizes he should have stayed and fought for what he knew all along was his. Daisy.
In the ten years, Theo was gone, Daisy has not had an easy or happy life. She ended up will a selfish a-hole of a man she never loved. Dix. He treated her badly to say the least. The only good things that came out of her marriage to Dix (yeah, that name is completely fitting), is her twins. Oh. My. Gosh...those babies were adorable and scene stealers as well. )
Theo and Daisy had to work for their HEA. They definitely had chemistry that was scorching AND the love they once had for each other never diminished. There was some miscommunication and secrets (on Theo's part) from early on that added the angst needed to make their happily ever after so much more satisfying.
Oh, and that last chapter AND epilogue was amazing. I was goofy-grining the whole time. Add in the twins and it was so swoon-worthy. Totally romantic for Valentines Day.
I downloaded this book by mistake thinking it was a different series. I found the language very crude. Didn't make it through the first chapter. Too many great books!
I loved this sweet, sexy story about Theo and Daisy. I love a second chance love story and I love the idea of the successful business man coming back to run the farm. Plus, super hot scenes. Swoon! You will not be disappointed. Loving this holiday series and looking forward to the next installment!! Fourth of July, maybe?

It's a terrific story with a fun story line, some excellent dirty talk, and a couple interesting variances on the second chance genre. I would have rated it higher but I never fell for Theo. He seemed selfish and domineering.
