Starts right off keeping your attention. no boring parts. very good writing. I got these used and they were in excellent condition shared with my friends got my moneys worth. If you like witches.
I had read this book previously and I decided to read it again. I really enjoy this author.
Excellent read! I loved this book,twists and turns,always keeping you on your toes.What I always refer to as a "page turner"! I had not read this author before but will definitely be reading more of her books! Thanks
I read this book when it came out years ago. I see it is finally coming back. It was a good book, different enough from the same old same that others are doing.
This is not the first book in the series. I found out about halfway through it that Ms. Brennan had written a short story based on Anthony and the St. Michael's crew. It would have helped explain the first 100 pages. During the 100 pages, I felt lost like I was supposed to have a clue what was going on but didn't. Slowly through flashbacks you can figure most of it out, but it doesn't leave you satisfied. I felt the character were really shallow and were on one track. The switching of points of view during a chapter led to confusion because the characters were strong enough to pull it off. I got frustrated throughout this book and almost didn't finish it. It's not what I expected from a good writer like Allison Brennan. I think I will stick to her serial killer/murder mysteries. I can't recommend this to even the hard core paranormal romance readers because there's very little romance. Just a disappointing book.

Again, really liked this series and glad a new book is coming out soon,. Just wish I'd known more about them before since I've read almost every book she's written in the last year on my . Glad she wrote more about this para-normal - witch/demon/psychic subject. I love it!
