Contrary to the average reviews for this book, this was the only Anne Gracie book I LOVED. This is also my FIRST Anne Gracie book and after reading it, I went in search of her other ones but they all fell flat so either this book is a fluke for the author or this is a new her since it is currently her latest one out. I truly hope it is the latter and will give her next book a chance before writing her off.

What I loved about this story....I loved that Maddy was a poor heroine and Anne Gracie illustrated her and her lifestyle with her younger siblings so richly. There was so much detail, subtly given to illustrate her world and her little home. It made me feel cozy and immersed in that world with them. As for the hero, Nash, I felt all his actions and reactions were real. I loved the chemistry and interaction between the two. She was sweet, innocent of a man's anatomy and curious and he was a sly, diplomatic rake who still stumbled with his dialogue with Maddy because men are sometimes goofs when it comes to love despite their profession. This is a Cinderella-like story but with a much stronger Cinderella, since Maddy is anything but dependent.

I usually speed-read books but this is one of the few where I read every single word.

Strong plot , lead and supporting characters. For anyone who wants a good fun romp of a storyline. Great weekend read
There were so many people to hate in this book. One of the worst was already dead. The woman the male lead characters were lovely and the children stole the show. No matter how many period romances I read, I cannot wrap my head around the idea that most of the men were just a hares breath from being pedophiles
Finally, a truly wonderful romance novel with great characters and a story that is both charming and touching. I loved it! The heroine, Maddy, is wonderful. She's loving, hard working, practical and yet warm and spirited. She is intelligent (thank God!) and brave and doesn't make stupid choices just to move the story along, but makes choices that are thought out and daring and hopeful. She's a gem. The hero is equally likeable and all together human. He has doubts and second thoughts but he does the right thing and follows his heart. The supporting cast of children, friends and even villians are all interesting and add depth to the story. The mystery of who is tormenting Maddy and her little family is engaging and keeps you interested til the end. I appreciated the author's obvious research into areas such as bee keeping, cooking methods, even medicine...all of these details added so much to the story. This was truly just an all out wonderful book. I highly recommend reading it.
Of the four Anne Gracie novels I've read this one was my favorite. The story was sweet and the characters likeable, and I thought the author did a great job giving the protagonist couple some depth and complexity. Maddy's younger siblings also added some charm to the story, and the beekeeping details made the heroine a little bit unique. A nice touch! My only kvetch is that I found myself getting irritated with Maddy for constantly feeling betrayed by Nash in the second half of the book. I could certainly understand some of her ire, but there were other times I thought the author forced the characters' conflict a little. That being said, I thought the book was well written for the genre and certainly entertaining. I would absolutely recommend "The Accidental Wedding" to those looking for some lighthearted reading.
I Truly adore this author, I have really enjoyed everything she has written..
I started this series along time ago
and proceeded thru the others with a flair of wonderful reading..
I am enjoying the series of books but been awhile since I read the last one ..
Honestly all were wonderful and I am SOOOO happy they have found Love
and as always in books and movies.. Lived happily ever after...
Beautiful romance, surrounded by family and a bit of a threat. The building of the romantic relationship stays front and center; the rest helps keep everything warm and real and nicely paced. I like both hero and heroine individually and together. I recommend this book.
This regency romance is simply charming. She was raised a lady but now lives in poverty. She rescues a rich handsome lord from injury, obliging him to sleep in her tiny cottage while recovering, all quite intimate. She has 5 young siblings in her care all perfect angels. An adult Cinderella story, without any of the strife of most romances. Focuses on the joy of children and falling in love, to provide a fairytale like escape. Good pace, no fretting, happy mood.

Highly recommended. Has in intimacy.
